Martyn is an internationally respected BAFTA and EMMY award winning Re-recording Mixer with a track record of dubbing high-profile programmes including Sir David Attenborough’s Natural History documentaries.
A craft professional, with more than 25 years experience in the BBC delivering high-quality sound tracks for Radio as well as Television, exceeding the needs and aspirations of clients across a wide variety of genres.
He has now embarked on a new chapter as a University Lecturer and Freelance Dubbing Mixer and sees this as a chance to "give back" to the business and is committed to bringing on the next generation of sound professionals as a senior lecturer in Audio and Music Technology at the University of the West of England.

Becoming an AMPS Council member
Winning a British Academy Award (BAFTA) for the sound mix on Sir David Attenborough’s Life Of Birds series. Becoming a full voting member of BAFTA and serving on its sound jury.
